nothing new

et me say it loud and clear: THE LOADING TIMES ON THIS TITLE ARE RIDICULOUS. You have to wait for the welcome screen to load, you have to wait for the warp room to load, you have to wait for the level to load, you have to wait for the game to load. Then, if you lose your lives - you have to wait all over again. When you want to save you have to wait again - and I don't mean wait as in PS1 loading times, when it comes to waiting this is a whole new ball game.

At the end of all that waiting... incredibly... the graphics aren't any better than those on the PS1 Crash games - in fact they're duller.

It may seem like I've spent an inordinate amount of this review talking about loading times - that's because, to play this game, you have to spend an inordinate amount of time waiting for them!

If you haven't got the excellent PS1 Crash series, go for (any/all of)those instead - the game play and the graphics are brilliant. If you've got all those and want more of the same, then you must take a good book with you. Even my daughter - a great Crash fan - has given up waiting.

Seriously, this game should never have been released in this state.
