For the first Crash game on the PS2, this is a real letdown. You also realize that loading takes up most of your time.

Crash for the PS2 isn't as good as it could be, and there really isn't anything all that new. But for some people that is a good thing, you might like the repetitiveness. I did, for the Crash games before this. But this is the first Crash game for the PS2, and I expected a lot more. The graphics are a lot better, which is good, but the loading times are so long, that you find yourself waiting forever it seems like. It gets real old, real fast. The game's storyline isn't anything that much different from Crash 3: Warped. Dr. Cortex is out to try and rule the world with Uka Uka's help, and you have to collect all of the crystals to try and stop him. there are still 5 Warp Rooms, with 5 levels each, and you can also get gems and relics if you want to beat everything possible. The rewards are exactly the same too. You still have Super Slam, and Double Jump, and Super Spin, the Bazooka, and the Speedy Shoes. The rewards though, are still fun, the bazooka being my favorite. All in all, an okay Crash game, but I think they should have tried to do a bit more for Crash's PS2 debut.
