The game is excellent: in graphics 10/10, in controls 8/10, in gameplay - until it gets to the 1/4 of the game...
So I will speak about the "areas to improve", hoping developers will consider this pray.
On one side, the first step to NORMAL PEOPLE, normal kids and adults was taken - good, thank you developers understanding that "times change" and games are now played not only by the 'hardcore' audience who can spend part of their life to beat the game - the "contemporary mode", where there is unlimited number of lifes to spend - thank you for this gift again. Now the game became "playable" to be (possibly) enjoyed.
However, it is still my biggest wonder - when the age of good games will start. Good for customers, for the users, players, people, not for the gamedev 'testers, managers, producers'. If I pay the money I want to ENJOY the game. To enjoy from start to the finish, without meeting absolutely crazy difficulty levels at the first quarter of the game to know the gamepad on the wall after 100+ deaths in attempt to pass just one freaking level, built on the master stunt expectations of the game designers for the users - to make it play longer in the end. First one freaking level, then normal level, then another freaking level, then it gets more and more - NOT enjoyable. Until you understand that something is not right here - either YOU are wrong and not flexible enough to press the buttons on time, or the GAME LEVEL is made with a twist of sadist enjoyment to see people getting more and more desperate.
The first part of the game until it gets impossible to play - is good, but the overall impression is simply hatred for the developers and all the people participated in it's production, frustration and wanting to get the money back - because it is not funny at all - the level of insane difficulty is not normal at all. Hope some day there will be such games created - so that people could enjoy them from start to finish, and not for the selected part of buys, who have the most time, patience and nerdiness to jack this to such crazy level of the skill to play and to finish the game. With big disappointment. Potentially great game - but for a limited audience, without warning. Nice, but extremely difficult.
