As far as fun platformers go for the PlayStation, this is at the top of the list.

User Rating: 8.5 | Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex no Gyakushuu! (PlayStation the Best for Family) PS
Crash Bandicoot 2: The Wrath of Cortex improves on everything in the first game. Graphics are slightly smoother, levels aren't as frustrating because of the controls, and the humor in the game has bumped up a notch.

The game starts out as Dr. Neo Cortex flies right into a cave after Crash destroying his blimp from the first game. He finds crystals in the cave. He gets this "brilliant" idea to trick Crash into collecting the crystals to TAKE OVER THE WORLD! Crash's sister, Coco, makes her first debut in this game as a computer nerd.

The game is similar to the first game, but the levels are a lot more interesting because you can ride on polar bears, get chased by polar bears, and the boss battles are a little more interesting--though very much alike.

Replay value isn't that great, but there are gems to collect, and some secret levels. Hey, you might even get the urge to go back on a level and play it again. I completely recommend Crash Bandicoot 2: The Wrath of Cortex if anyone wants a memorable experience.
