This compilation, which is clearly meant to be together, is well worth your money.

User Rating: 8.5 | Crash & Spyro Superpack GBA
There was the separately released games... Spyro Orange and Crash Bandicoot Purple. The games were based on each other's story of Crash and Spyro strangely crossing paths, then quickly befriending each-other and they soon discover their arch-enemies are planning something bad (obviously) and they team up to stop them. Either way, onto the review.

Story: 7 (It's been done before, so nothing special, but it works okay.)
Graphics: 8 (Quite detailed despite being on a small screen.)
Music: 7 (Music is fine and does it's part in the games.)
Controls: 7.5 (They controls can be fun themselves surprisingly.)
Sound: 7.5 (Just the regular sound of the Spyro and Crash games.)

The story is somewhat explained above, but it is discovered that the worlds of both Spyro and Crash have a connected world, and it's in danger because of their arch-enemies are trying to get rid of their foes (annoyingly using disguises in order to fool the heroes). But soon afterward, Crash and Spyro soon travel in their respective world and find what is needed to stop their enemies succeeding in their plan. Overall, the story is fine and does well, nothing wrong, making the crossover a success.

The game-play, is thankfully different. The Crash levels in Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage are similar to what one played in the console system. A few worlds with a large amount of mini-games and challenges, with many unlock-ables that do the games justice. The same with Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy, with a platforming supply of mini-games and challenges. The worlds are both similar and different, because of the exclusive ideas of both game series' characters, which makes this game compilation have great replay value.

I recommend this handheld compilation for anyone who is a fan of both Crash, Spyro, or both, and those who love a game that keeps them distracted via the Game Boy. There is nothing more I could say that would make me say any wrong on this wonderful set.
