A must have for any FPS collection
The main point of the game is to eleminate the opposing force befor they elemenate you or accomplish their goals.Theirs only 2 kinds of modes, Demolition and Hostage.In Demolition, Terrorists try to plant a bomb at one of 2 areas and the AT has to stop them.If the bomb is planted, then it has to be defused befor it explodes.In Hostage, Terroists have a base with the hostages and the AT must retreive them and return them to their base. Money is taken away if either team harms a hostage.The other way to win is of course, kill the other team.The levels are set with the type of game being played, so you cant select a level and choose what kind of game to play.
Here is how the game works.You start off the round with a pistol and purchase other weapons and ammor to use depending on what you can afford with your money.Depending on the difficulty, the harder it is, the less money you start out with.Money is gained for winning a match or killing a single enemy.Theirs many items to buy; body armor, pistols, SMGs, Assult rifles, Sniper Rifles, Heavymachine gun, ballistic shield, gernades,etc. You can only carry a one side arm and one heavy weapon, but you can also drop and pick up guns from fallen allies or enemys.You also can carry a decent amount of other small equipment;armor, bomb defuse kit, grenades,etc. The controls are normal for a FPS. The aiming is clever in this game. As you run around, the crosshairs for aiming are large; but when you stand still or kneel, they become more accurate.
The graphics are decent. They aren't very detailed like most games.
The difficulty is pinpoint. If you set it to easy, it will be easy; if you set it to hard, get ready for war!! The AI can make the difficulty harder sometimes. Your own team members will make stupid actions like throwing a live grenade and have it fly back at them to kill themselves or you!! Also the enemies can have pinpoint headshot accuracy against you but take FOREVER to kill each other.During the game, you can also command your troops with the D-pad,but depending on the difficulty, they may not follow you.To make things easier, heads shots are intant kills in this game.
The sound is good....seeing as its only sound effects and the voice of D-pad commands. If you want music, you will have to use the music that you synced to your Xbox (or just hum epic battle music for 20 min.+)
This game is really good and i reccomend it to anyone who likes FPS or tactical army games.
