I think that this game is an absolute shame and disapointment. Microsoft should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this game to grace their magnificent system.I remember when Soul Calibur was brought to the Dreamcast, Namco took it upon themselves to go the extra mile and revolutionize graphics and make a deep mission mode which combined to make what is still considered the greatest fighting game ever. To me it would have only made sense that Valve would go the same direction with such a hot property but it seems like they just paid some college interns twenty bucks to make this crappy port.Here is the breakdown of my score decisions. Gameplay:This game can get addictive but no improvements on gameplay on this older game shows gross negligence on Valves part. You can't peak to the sides, open doors. No heat vision,new grenades,no gadgets. Pretty much no interaction with the background. Graphics: Its true that graphics don't make a game but Damn!! Characters look like Super Mario with sub-machine guns. There is no excuse for having graphics this bad on such a powerful system. And whats with all the cartoon like colors on the interface and characters. I feel like I'm playing Crash Bandicoot. Sound: I have no problem with sound. I feel the guns sound realistic enough for me. I also like the fact that you can hear the direction of where characters are running and hardly hear them when they're crouching and walking. That concept works well. Value: This game presents as a very slack and lame job with very little effort made. This game has no one player game potential at all. You would think with competition like Rainbow Six 3, Valve would have left the Condition Zero in with possible online co-op, but I guess that would be asking too much. I don't know how they expect they will sell many copies bringing a rehash of a game that people can pretty much play for free on PC The only reason I didn't give this game a lower value score is because it supports Xbox Live giving it high replayability. Tilt: With the potential that this game could have had and what little effort was made, I give this game a very low tilt score. I think its an insult for Microsoft to be asking fifty bucks for this game. If you want a real strategy shooter, buy Rainbow Six 3 whiich is an absolute masterpiece.
