CS:GO is like the name says: good to go (at least if you are familiarized with the older versions).

So you played Counter Strike (who doesn't) and you want a new installment with enough changes (to make the game interesting again) but you don't want too many changes (to make it a really new game): here it is: CS:GO. 80% the same, 15% improvement, 5% new.

We know the good formula for a new game in a series should be 33% the same, 33% improvement and 33% new, but not in Counter Strike. Here, one small change can upraise hordes of angry hardcore fans (yes, there are many of them that still don't accept the now aging Counter Strike: Source, an almost identical update to the ancient CS 1.6).

So, if you lived under a rock for the last 12 years and didn't play Counter Strike (these console players, pff), CS:GO will be hard to get into. Expect to die a lot. Expect to kill nothing. Expect to be humiliated. And it's your fault. Because no matter what gun you have, how much time you spend "grinding" the game (which you actually can't do), skill (and skillful teamplay) means everything in CS.

If you are an old player (like me), expect a game exactly as you used to play, but more beautiful. OK, with some new weapons. And maps. And game modes.

BTW: I played in the PC, the only place for a FPS.
