This was the legend from the HL engine that spawned an international sensation in FPS CT vs. T realistic action craze, and the one that inpired many others later. I remember this being a hit around the turn of the millennium, spending many endless hours playing this game instead of doing better things...I reckon that this makes Diablo look like child's play in terms of decreasing productivity on an international level. If you've never played CS, shame on you.

This is a collection of the original CS, so for those whose PCs may not be uber enough, this is a great play and flashback to the younger days of CS, before Source. No, you can't escape the dreaded Steam, you'll have to register with it in order to play...can't stress enough how much people hate Steam, as if we don't deal with enough middlemen already in our daily lives. You don't need HL to play.

Besides CS, it also contains Condition Zero and Deleted Scenes. Condition Zero is where you play the same maps as you would online except you play with and against bots. You must meet several objectives per map, and you pick the difficulty. Deleted Scenes is what I like best, it takes you on a campaign as a CT spanning the globe to fight terror. You may be a SEAL, Spetznaz, whatever, depending on the mission. Some of them are simple and can get boring. There are enemies at key locations and they come out of rooms that were previously locked off to you. Call it cheap if you like. However, you'll come across missions that have a nice plot and involve more teamwork and immerses you more in the story.

Any CS fan should have this, if you're new to CS, go get it!
