Quick race mode is just a mode to pick up and play. If you've unlocked all the cars you should have no problem in this area.
The music sucked as always. The controls was the most difficult out any game I've ever played! Drifting? Not on this game! Riding off road is a very big mistake! The cars spin out in the smallest amount of dirt or grass. Grass slow them to a crawl. You do get a good sense of speed when on the road on a long stretch. The cars seem to keep on speeding up, but once you enter a corner you better downshift all the way to first if you wanna take that corner! The cars drive like semi's! They all seem to sound the same. The paint jobs are the best out of most games! This game had me feeling that it wasn't worth my time trying to win al the races, because the comp didn't see or know how to drive! They would run right in to your car and not even slow down unless you blocked them from passing or they ran off road. Objects hanging over the race track and other distractions seemed to add to the visuals. One on one races seemed too easy and the cops were lost with extreme ease! I liked the Impala's on the race track that I kept running into. Cheating on this game is a waste of time. The other drivers benefit from the always low times and will drive very fast to keep the lowest time which makes the game harder because the cars handle so poorly you can't take a place in the corner unless it's a very wide turn. I noticed that if you choose a very nice paint job the comp is driving a lame color that the whole field is using. The rest of the game is about the same and doesn't need to be explained because if you do all of Quick race or Arcade first you will see the same tracks again. Even in career mode. This game makes Corvettes look bad!
