The Good: Co-Op can be Fun ----------------------------------------------------------------- The Bad: Graphics are terrible, Unrealistic, Weapons aren't fun to use, Poor control system, Bad mission structure, Too repetative, Feel's half-done =============================================================I was New to the conflict series - and i thought 'First person shooter, what could go wrong!' Yeah... It turns out everything went wrong... Denied Ops not only Put me off the Conflict series but It also almost put me off the playstation 3! Graphics took me back to the year 2000 - they were buggy, glitchy and plain horrible... Shooting triggers major explosions (and while this can be fun - It's just plain unrealistic) I once shot a table and it exploded in my face... Weapons are few 'If I remember clearly - you only get two' And even they aren't fun... Not even when you bring down a helicopter... The controls feel dated and don't work with the game - not even one redeeming quality... Missions are poorly done and very, very easy to complete - raging on different scenes... and yet the game still feels repetative in every way - Put a few enjoyable modes on the game, Take away the bad graphics and disappointing controls and this may have been a best seller... Co-op is the only half-decent quality but even that is like the experience times two... Do yourself a favour: If you Have this game... Pick it up and put it in it's rightful place - the bin
It has been so long that I have played a game that has had nothing whatsoever going for it. You look at one aspect of Denied Ops and think "ew." and think "hey maybe there is something that will compensate for this?" unf... Read Full Review
