For £7.99 Bargain, and a good game to, better than most, these are my 1st Impresions
£7.99 even if I have never heard of the game I would still have bought it for the bargain price tag (my budget is very tight these days), I have been watching this game and Alone in the Dark and Resident Evil 5 (gold), I set out to get Resident Evil 5 but they did not have in stock, so I had a poke around and saw this game, and when I saw the price tag I snagged it off the shelf while I had the chance.
What can I say about the game, not much really I only played 1st level as a tester really before I really get into it (I do with every game I buy), I was happy I had made picked a great game for a bargain.
Graphics and gore are nice and slick, compelling story and innovative ways to get the story involved with the game play, as an example, findind TV's with an antenna attached, moving it untill you get the stream and gives you hits and hits, bits of the story and story from condemned 1 (I never played it) so that helped me understand and get into the game that much quicker, I cared (a little bit) about my character and hopefully as the game goes on I'll get to love him in a way that makes me want to clear the game for myself and character (not many games do that).
My only gripe is lack of weapons I think Iv only come across 5 or 6 that mostly all do the same thing but have different statistics reach for example, I suppose there is a reason, some work better against others than the one you already have, shame you cant have more than 1 weapon you can only pick up, drop, throw or swap, I tend to keep the same 1 untill its badly damaged, the Pipe has good Dmg low reach.
I'll post another when iv played 1- - 20 hours, so I can tell you more about this game but, IT'S ONE WORTH HAVING! Especially if you like survival horrors, blood, up & close gore, weapons makes a change from guns (although you can have guns later on in the game), all in all 8.5 to 9.0 score IMO.....
