I hope you like your bullets bouncy

Combat was one of the very first videogames to cause me to laugh my butt off. Now one thing you have to understand is that this game works best as a multiplayer game. If you play it by yourself, it's just not fun, and there's just no point. For its day, Combat packed a lot of fun into a little package with many different game modes. Don't be fooled by the name. Combat isn't a war game. It's more like many different variations on the game of Tag. You have your tank game. You have your World War II airplane game. You have a game where a World War II airplane is chasing down an unfairly oversized bomber(unfair to the bomber because it was such a large target). You have your jet aircraft games. The tank game was probably the most popular because you had to crawl through different mazes to find your opponent and pull off the shot before your opponent did. There were also variations like bullets that bounced and invisible tanks(always good for a laugh). But even the airplane games were cool, because the airplanes turned realistically, and you could even speed up or slow down, making for some good dogfights. But no matter which game you choosed, it was always the same. Everytime you hit somebody, his vehicle would spin around like crazy, and you would get a point. And then it would start all over again while the laughter began.
