Road to Freedom is a prime example of what happens when a title with great potential is rushed to the shelves prematurely. IN RTF, you are started as a slave sold to a gladiator training facility. Your master gives you an added incentive to lay your life on the line for the entertainment of the Roman masses... Should you repay him the price he paid to purchase you as a slave, he will grant you your freedom. Although the game play is a bit repetitive, the concept and story line are top notch. Although the final product seems, like most games to have been rushed onto shelves, Road to freedom is a quality addition to any hard core gamers collection. Although much much more could have been added to RTF, this game and its barbaric simplicity keep pulling you back for more.
