Rally games are not everyone’s cup of tea. Colin McRae Rally 3 is one of those game you want to play, even if you don’t like rallying that much. Strange that may be, and it is a slight reference to how good this game can be. My time going through all the stages has taught me valuable lessons in car handling; Rally cars are rough handling because you’ve got very slippery tracks to drive on and brakes that were never designed for use on the open road, really. You can race in all the major stages of the world. Colin McRae himself is in the game, albeit a virtual McRae. Attention to detail has not been left on the lurch this time around graphic wise. The handling of the cars has left me thinking I’ve played better but this is by no means the worst. It is better than average. I will give this game a very well deserved 8.0 because although it’s not the best it will keep you interested for a fair while.
