Would a movie game that has Sam Worthington as the lead change the way we see movie games forever? Ummm.... No.
Clash of The Titans is a MOVIE game, which does not break away from the formula of which movie games are made to capitalise on the movie, and follows gameplay and story like from a GREAT game series; God of War. And the similarities end there, because all I can say that is at the very most, this game is ambitious, because it screamed "I WANNA BEAT GOD OF WAR" but falls into a pit called "Disappointment".
The gameplay is what we'd try to forget again and again, but it tries so hard to be God Of War and it really does want to be liked but it fails badly with the combat being slower and unresponsive. in my case, for all my might, I pressed the commands at the exact time it wants me to do but all Perseus did was a slash and left at there. Plus while the game has its own moves to support on its own, the game feels as if it has been done over and over again. However it is noted that the 2 player co-op is an interesting feature that many games today wouldn't implement at all.
The graphics is... meh, I can't say good nor bad, it is average although I have to point that the character details is a bit on the low side, because they look as if they are in the wrong console. PS2 in PS3? I thought it was almost impossible for a PS3 to achieve that kind of rendering!!!
There isn't much for this game to fall on, its length feels short, the game has almost no replayability, and the only things you achieve for playing is the trophies. And for the 60 dollar price tag, I would look in the bin if I were you.
Please consider your options before buying or even renting this.
