Its ashame this game doesn't have a more appealing name!
It is really fun to create your own characters. It is fun to play with the "magic circle" system. The magic circle is a very innovative way to deal with stats. The dialog is hilarious, and yet somehow doesn't even matter because you can skip it at anytime.
I am 31 years old and I grew up with games like this, so maybe it wouldn't appeal to someone younger? I think it would though.
My only complaint is I thought it was going to feel more open, like Zelda. You know, have some sort of large overworld. It is more like the dungeons in Zelda and 1 town. But hey, thats what Blizzards "Diablo" was the first time around. So maybe we'll get a super awesome sequel. Its also only $20. Totally worth it.
Its just ashame they didn't do some marketing research for the US. Most people are going to pass off this game because of the name. Until the Playstation Network matures, the only advertisement you get of this game is one little icon, its name and a very brief description. So it is important to name the game something good. Oh well. Im sure with its crazy name, it is popular in Japan.
