A must play game. Hallmark for its genre.
Civilization II was a huge step forward since the engine is now presents you a 3D scenario. So the graphics are a great improvement and looks excellent. There is nothing to worry about the sounds since they follow the graphics upgrade. You have something like 20 civilizations to choose from and start growing building cities, making discoveries, trading and conquering territory. The main objective of the game is to build a space ship to reach alpha centaury but the game also ends you destroy all other civilizations, get you civ destroyed or if you retire at any time. At the end of the game you receive a score that became a percentage that says if you was (or not) a good leader. Of course this particular version is out of date but it still has gameplay and shoes great improvement over the first release and also over any other game in this genre.
