Excellent alternative to the fine-grain controlled Simcity.

This is a very good game. I bought this game searching for the RushHour expansion pack in Circuit City. After playing it a while, I think this game has given me more joy than Simcity. I like the ease of play ( auto taxes etc. ) that takes away some of the micromanagement of SimCity.
While SimCity 4 is enjoyable in its own right, I really love City Life. I like the fact that you can zoom right into a street view and walk along with the residents. Music is repetitive but use your own ! Overall, I think this is a must buy for any casual fan of SimCity type games. In fact, if I would've played this game first, then SimCity wouldn't have appealed that much.
