Wait....did I actually load 2012, or did I accidentally start 2011?

They have changed absolutely nothing to the mechanics of the game. So far the only items I have seen changed are the intro screen and some maps. They claim to have added some buildings but its not really something you notice. For a full review of the gameplay just look up a review for 2011 as they are the exact same game.

The reason I gave it a 5 is because I feel it was more of a DLC skin pack and $13 was a little much to pay for the added content.

Its as if the developers are hoping that if they added the ability for the game to be easily modded it would some how turn this into the next big thing. Sim City 4 is still a better city "simulator" but there is still something about the view of a city in XL that sim city could never achieve.

If you are looking to buy this I actually would pass. If you own 2011 keep it until the modding community makes 2012 worth it (if at all). If you dont own 2011, just start with it and save some money.
