This game really gets a pretty bad rap, and yes I understand that Square may have exploited the Chocobo a little too much. The over-all gameplay was sometimes slow, and maybe even occasionally annoying, but there was something about those dandy sprites, and those purdy colors that just made the game nice. Furthermore, the scenes in story mode were a little crazy, but they were actually very entertaining to me; you know with the paper looking characters, and Mog's hilarious antics. I enjoyed the variations in the characters abilities, and the advantages that can be gained from beating the game in story mode. In conclusion: This game was actually really worth my... err... many, many hours of gameplay. Besides, don't you just love good'ol Chocobo, and good'ol Mog, and that weird appearence from squall, the classic snes airship, cloud, and all that other weird stuff. Good game. If You havent played it, and you really like chocobo's, and you still have a Ps1 play it.
