A weak attempt at a game that could have been great
Story: the story has you playing as tom as he tries to solve the mystery of these strange shadow creatures that are attacking Perim this was actually a pretty good story and probably the only redeeming quality for the game.
Gameplay: in short the gameplay was a mash-up of multiple styles of gameplay the first gameplay style you will see is a shooter style which is accomplished by giving tom a pyroblaster this was a cool idea except for the fact that the shooting aspect is too simple you charge a shot then you shoot or just tap the shoot button repeatedly and on top of that you never get to use any other weapon so it gets kind of boring. The next style of gameplay is rpg this was a decent system but it lacked the proper attention to make it great I say this becuase the fighting that happens is very repetitive and the thing the people say for their attacks are the same for instance when you use delerium the creature using it will always say " have something for your lack of inspiration" and not only that but to complicate things even more they throw in a scanning or blocking system which is were you either scan the monster which almost always takes more than one turn or block which redces damage but really most of the time you will be scanning becuase once a battle ends you can't go back and replay it.
Graphics: they were horrible compared to the show, it looks like the took wood carved it into these figures and put them in the game it was aweful and sad at the same time
Overall this game is a waste of money if you are planning on buying this don't bother you will only get about five hours of gameplay and then you will find yourself saying what a waste
