I couldn't put it down.

I bought this game when the price was dropped to twenty bucks and along with Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Devil May Cry, it's the best twenty bucks I've ever spent. The first night I had it I played till eight in the morning and missed my Spanish class! It's that addicting, even if the premise is simple. You always feel you're just on the verge of finding a new, all-powerful weapon, or levelling up and unlocking that special skill you've been waiting for. The graphics are still impressive and the action is done well, although it does slow down some times, even when little is going on. The music is good; it fits the genre, but it often kicks in at the wrong times. The overall presentation is very good, though. The characters mean little to the story, you can pick any of them and get the same stuff. The selections runs from human grunts with strong melee attacks, elves, archers, wizards, and undead magicians. The customization of each character is robust enough. With a bare bones online play, this game throws plenty at you to make it worth your time and money. Even if you've played plenty of these games, the fun is always there, especially if playing with friends; that is a blast, plain and simple.
