A solid game and some old school extras make this a must have for Castlevania and old school gamers alike.

Castlevania has been a great game franchise since the beginning of gaming history.Many sequels have been made including some 3D addition to the series.But the best Additions by far have been the 2D games.Unfortunately one game did not make it to the U.S. until know.Rondo of blood arrives for the first time in the U.S. on the psp.Renamed Dracula X Chronicles it is a remake of the original with better graphics and new extras.It starts of with Richter Belmont who is a descendant of vampire hunters.His girlfriend has been kidnapped by the minions of Dracula which sets him on a course to the final battle against Dracula.


Long time players won't find a problem beating this game,but newcomers might find it hard without a little practice.The voice acting is good even if there is few speaking parts.The graphics are great for a psp system.The extras are great even though you have to find them hidden in the levels.The extras include the original Rondo of blood for the first time in the U.S.Also includes the sequel Symphony of the night which is acclaimed to be the best castlevania to date.Other unlockables include the music from all three games.This package is a must have for any castlevania fan and I highly recommend it for any retro gamer.
