The best, and my favorite, 2-D side scrolling action game ever. Period.

I don't know where to start, this game is amazing in every way possible. The character animations are impeccable and the gameplay is tight and intuitive. The game is huge and expansive, even when i knew what i was doing, the second time through, getting 100% completion still took me almost 20 hours. The game fetures over 140 different enemies and a massive collection of items ( too many to count)! The boss fights are superb and fancinating (in one boss fight, you battle a two-screen-tall zombie) and most of the items have special little secrets for you to uncover. Though the plot is sub par, what are you to expect from a castlevania game. simply put, this is my favorite game of all time and remains one of the most immersive and deep games out there. I would strongly recomend purchasing this game. Actually, in fact, purchase it now if you already haven't. Get in your car (if you don't have one, get someone to drive you) and go to the nearest videogame store and buy it. Now.
