Easily one of the best castlevania games to date.

This game is really amazing as it shows off what Konami is really trully made of. You venture as Alucard, Count Dracula's son. This epic adventure merges RPG like qualities with 2D hack and slash, and they do it really well too. The music will be stuck in your head for awhile and the music actually combines well with the stage its put into. Very few games have done this that aren't 3D, It'll leave you hungering to play more and more. Plus with the extra features you can unlock it leaves great replay value to the game as well. This game shows why Castlevania is ment to be played in a 2D format. The relic system was great and being able to turn into a bat, wolf or mist was actually needed to get to certain places to get items you needed. They also gave it the difficulty sometimes doesn't match every single place but in most places you need to be wary of whats around you because what seems weak actually can kill you instead. This is a most have for any Castlevania fan, I don't think any Castlevania has merged everything so well into one game it almost seems perfect. Getting to play as Richter Belemont in the beginning then being able to fight him later was actually a treat as well. It showed how diverse Konami is showing the good and the bad of someone but I'm gonna tell you why this happened, find the game and try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed at all.
