Castlevania: SON follows a long line of great games in a even better series. Everything about this game says cool. From the 2D graphics to the fantastic music. Sit back and enjoy it cause itll be worth the ride. Castlevania stories almost always are about some noble man and his quest for revenge. The Belmount bloodline is sworn to hunt down dracula and any other undead creatures who stand in their way. There is a particular twist to this story. Alucard Draculas own son is tired of the killing and the shame that is associated with his father and decides to put an end to the vampire himself. With great powers like being able to transform into a wolf, mist, and bat to handle numerous situations Alucard uses his half vampire powers in fun and inovative ways. The hunt wil take him all over Draculas huge and I mean huge castle. The monters vary and the challenge is enjoyable. The Gameplay in this one is one of the best in the series since Castelvania 2 Simons quest. It has RPG elements so that alucard grows in things like constitution, intelligence, speed and things like that. It also has spells that are cast ala street fighter where you press certain button combos and alucard can perform certain feets like firing fire balls from his cape. When changing to his other forms he still has great powers Like when hes mist he can collect other items to become poisionous and do harm to enemies. Finding everything is a challenge and fighting the bosses are nothing short of fun. From the reaper to Medusa youll want to lose just so you can fight them again. The great music is why they probably call this game symphony of the night. When you enter new areas new songs rock out that fit the location. The voice acting is very good and does not osund cheesy or forced. The monters, bangs, thumps and other sound effects are on cue. The ending song alone is worth the time and effort youll put in to beating this game. The game is quite long, too. The replay value on Symphony is quite high as you have the castle and it must be 208 % completed. The castle has to sides when you comolete the first it turns upside down provided you beat the first with the right amount of percent. As I mentioned before these castles are huge. In colsing this would be a great game to get brilliant controls, sound, and gameplay standout in this one. This is an example of great gaming. It wont disappoint you thanks for reading. PEACE OUT!
