Castlevania III has got to be one of my favorites in the Castlevania series. In this particular game one of the coolest things you can do is transform into one of the three partner spirits as mentioned above. My favorite was Sypha (something about women fighters that appeals to me ) and as you can see from the Memory Lane video I used Sypha to beat the last boss. Your main job is to find and destroy Dracula in his very own castle (as with the previous Castlevania installments). Along the way you are confronted with a hoard of his minions and area bosses that try to stop you from reaching him.
The music as usual is earie and also upbeat at times. Actually all the music in the game was very well done and followed closely to the theme of Castlevania. I highly recommend this game to anyone who has missed it when they had the NES. I would also recommend it to the newer generation that hasn't tried something of this calibre because Castlevania is truly a series that anyone can enjoy.
