The greatest castlevania game ever created

This time around you play as Ralph Belmondo out to stop dracula 200 years before Simons 2 encounters. You not only get to play as Ralph but also as a dwarf named Grant de nasty, Sypha Belnades, and Alucard (dracula's son). The game starts out action packed and never lets up. the greatest feature is when the road forks from time to time and picking the stage you visit next, and skipping over those which aren't your favs. This feature also ups the replay value if one wants to see all the levels in the game. The boss fights are toned down a bit from the original game, and there' s lots of new bosses in this one in addition to the ones we see in the first one. You get all the sub weapons from castlevania and your buddies which you can switch between during the levels can also hold some subweapons and sypha gets spellbooks instead of the traditional weapons which allow her to cast powerful spells which differ between books. Grant can get to areas that look unreeachable cuz he can climb on the ceiling and latch on to and climb the sides of platforms as well as the bottoms. Alucard has the best power cuz he can turn into a bat and can bypass alot of the less exciting segments of some levels like the long verticle climb in the caves where you'd have to normally jump on falling blocks to pass.
Konami really did an astounding job with this one and this one is not only my fav. nes game but also my fav. castlevania game.
