Buying this I thought "WOW My first Castlevania game!" So I bought it went home played it and I was like WTF how do I do this. I had to look up a review from IGN to figure out how to play. (IGN explains more information than necessary) You start out with the full screen. Which makes it very hard to find your character if you click the camera button (360 controls). Sound effects were meh. I mean I don't want to hear sounds straight out of a comic when I kill something. The difficulty is just hard. I like the choice Between Alacard and the kid with the Axe. Warning to anyone who has bought the game but has yet to play it, Always play as Alacard. His attacks are faster and he moves faster. Last week I finally got up to the first boss. I had 7 HP. The boss killed me with one hit. Another problem with this game is that STUPID TIME LIMIT. Sure traditional Castlevania games have time limits (Castlevania NES) but this one, if you click the start button which pauses the game, the time limit still goes down, SO YOU NEED TO MAKE THAT PISS FAST. Castlevania for the NES had a way to pause the game AND the time limit! The game takes place in a castle this time UNLIKE Lords of Shadow. Also I just HATE running into dead ends and having to constantly click the camera button to see where I HAVE TO GO. THIS GAME GETS A 6.5 OUT OF 10.
