User Rating: 7.5 | I Love Mickey Mouse: Fushigi no Oshiro Daibouken GEN
The search is on! Mickey is on the trail of a wicked Witch named Mizrabel, who has kidnapped Minnie. Mickey must find seven gems to save Minnie. Run, leap and bounce with Mickey, slinging apples and Marbles at enemies. Then, get ready to challenge your most dangerous foe. Witch Mizerable herself!

On Mickey's adventure, he must travel though five doors, behind each door is a different world of illusion. The Enchanted Forest, Toyland, The Storm, The Library and The Castle. Each world contains gems, and you must collect all seven gems to be save Minnie. When you get all seven, Mickey is able to create a rainbow bridge and save Minnie from her prison. In each world there are several scenes that are connected by tunnels, watch out because inside these worlds are a countless number of critters and tricks, all created by Mizerable and her Masters of Illusion. Good Luck!

Gameplay
The controls are simple, move using the D-Pad, A or B buttons are to throw things at enemies and C is to jump. If you hold the C button down, Mickey can jump higher. Apart from throwing Apples and Marbles at enemies, Mickey can also use a Bounce Attack, when you jump above an enemy you can press the C button whilst in mid-air to perform a sort of butt-stomp attack!
You don't have lives in this, you have what are called 'tries'. Depending which difficulty setting you choose (Practice, Normal or Hard) will determine how many power spheres you start off with. Power Spheres are basically your Health Gauge, once you run out of Power Spheres your Power Gauge will become empty and you lose one try. Once Mickey loses all his tries the game ends. However, If your playing a Practice game Mickey can continue up to four time and two times in a Normal game. You can't continue in hard mode.

Graphics
The graphics are colourful and detailed, this realy give the game a Disney feel. Mickey has been wonderfully animated, watching him stroll across the screen with his trademark sway can still bring a smile to my face =]. Sound
The music in this game is really very good based on Mega Drive standards. Each world has its own theme tune which is perfectly suited to the environment. The sound effects are clear and precise, and again suits the game perfectly.

Verdict
Any fan Mickey Mouse will enjoy this title, but I would also recommend this game purely based on its platforming caliber alone. It's fun, the length is just right, and it's cheap!
