An insightful way to sensitize people of issues most of us don't know

I played this game after I saw the video Gamespot made and told how they experienced the game. I instantly felt for the newspaper merchant and chose him as my character once I installed the game. Of course the game looks terrible compared to most other recently released games. It's not 3D and not even in color. But as farther along as you play the game the more irrelevant all of these things get. You only focus on your characters appetite, that he gets enough sleep and makes enough money to be able to pay his apartment and to buy some nice things for his cat. Memorable moments come along as you play and will ruin all your plans, as his cat for example disappears, in this scene I paniced myself :)

You get to see the life of a person that has fundamental issues and you start to feel for it. Everyday life becomes a struggle as you have to fight with money and a lot of set backs. But it is at the end of the game when you start to understand the profanity of the whole game and what feelings it left you with.

An awesome "game" that in my opinion everyone should play at least once.

On the other hand if you look at this game a little more objectively, it has forgettable graphics, Super Nintendo sound and it's very very short, with no possibility to continue.
But then again, it's free so what the heck :)
