Captain America and Avengers is an instant classic! But does the game do as good as the arcade?
I own this game, and have since i was a kid. Ive always enjoyed it, and have fond memories of it. And those memories of it are all the same, NEVER BEING ABLE TO BEAT THE GAME! Toward the end the game gets really hard, and surviving isnt easy.
They give you very few lives to survive the game. I remember always making it to the last level on the space station only to die. Even if you go to OPTIONs menu and change it so you have more lives and more continue options, its still pretty dificult to beat. I still have not beat it. And though my gaming skills have improved, i recently played it again, and its still a challenging game. Fun beat um up, but challenging none the less. So if your up for a fun beat um up, that is challenging, try this game.
Controls: You get a punch button, a jump button and a shoot button. Cap. America, shoots his shield with shoot button, iron man a laser, hawkeye shoots an arrow, and vision shoots beams that look like they come out of his armpits if you look at the animation he does while shooting.
Its a fun game, to play by self or with someone else, nice to go back to these old school beat um ups. And if you like a challenge, try beating it.
