During the years there has always been a Cross-Over series for some RPG games and Platformer games. Fighting games is great way to see other charcter fighting each other Capcom VS Marvel, but my favourite was the Capcom VS SNK series.

For those who don't know what it is it's a couple of charcters from the Capcom franchise and the SNK franchise all fighting into this one big fighting tournament. There isn't much to a story to the series but it's more of your standard arcade fighting games just like if you were playing them in your local arcades.

Gameplay: You can choose from 44 charcters altogethor from the Capcom side you've got your main Street Fighter Charcters like Ryu, Chan-Li, Vega. From the SNK side you've got some of the main charcters from the King of Fighters series like Iori, Terry and Mai.

You've got your main fighting menu's like Arcade, Survival and Training. You can either play with a charcter through Arcade or choose up to 3 charcters for your own team. But there are six different fighting styles knowen as "Groove System" you've got- C,S,A,N,P and K- that you can choose from before starting a match.

Grooves affect the Groove Gauge in different ways. S-Groove you can dodge moves, run and tactical recovery. C-Groove can let you Dash and use Air Block and P-Groove canlet you use Super Combo moves when you build up your attacks or perform a parry. When your gauge is full you can perfom your special moves.

Graphics and Sound: The series havn't changed, I've always loved the 2D style Arcade graphics for most Beat Up Fighting games. The Capcom VS SNK series have different arena's from different areas through out the game but also some of those arena's are from sets from other games like there's a Desert arena which looks the same level from the Metal Slug series.
There isn't much esle to talk about from the Graphics department.

Voicing is mixed with English and Japanese and still have the some references from charcters like Ryu who keeps say Hudokin or Sudeokin. Soundtrack for the game is mixed but sort oof sounds the same from the games.

Overall: Fighting fans will enjoy the Capcom VS SNK series and will enjoy Capcom VS SNK 2, it's always fun to play with a friend but I'm not sure if you can use the Arcade Sticks but I think you can thats if you don't like playing fighting games with your standard controller.
