This was my first experience with a call of duty game. Seriously. I had only played Medal of Honor before ( wich were my first fps´s). Well, this game is incredible. The gameplay is better then moh in many aspects. Instead of going around doing special missions with you against a thousand nazis, you actually get some pretty nice teammates. Graphics are also good (if you take on account the engine used). But the more intersting parts of the game are the weapons. They are not just your ordinary ww2 firearms, this weapons are much more realistic. You can use their ironsights, and they have realistic reload animations. They are varied as well, it is not just a pistol, a shotgun, a machine gun, a sniper rifle, etc. There are several weapons in the same class, wich makes the gameplay more intersting. The missions are also good. Instead of playing little-known operations, you play major battles of the war. My final commentary goes to the health system. Probably the hardest part of the game, specially for new gamers. Unlike the call of duty games that would come next, this game counts with an old-fashioned health bar, wich you need to refil using medic kits. Although this poses no problem to gamers who already played earlier games such as DOOM, QUAKE, Half-Life and others. Overall a good game that shouldnt be missed.
