Oh lord, CoD did it again, highly anticipated game, millions spent on advertising, near the holiday season, look there is not much a big video game producer can do wrong when it has a story like the WWII in its hands and yet, Activision blew it up. This is a terrible game in many senses, and a shameless robbery of $60 bucks.
Lets start for the visuals, terrible graphics, reused engine that its getting behind other major game producers like Bethesda, if you compare the new Wolfenstein installment graphics compared with CoD WWII you'll see what I am referring to.
Sound is mediocre, voice acting good but SFX and music terrible.
Storyline is horrendous in various way, if you are a purist on history and WWII you will find major mistakes on the story (maybe to make the game a little more world-friendly in Russian and German markets) but even if you dont care about history accuracy the story is plain and boring.
Basically CoD is a linear shooter, run, shoot, advance, complete mission. Yes you hop into some tanks, some planes, have some fun, but it a not memorable game and a game you will stop playing after some days, thats for sure.
My suggestion, if you really want to play this game badly, wait for the holiday season to end, I am sure they will reduce the price since this game will not get the desired sales results Activision is looking for. Believe me.
