Highly entertaining, but not enough bang for your buck.

User Rating: 5.5 | Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Stimulus Package X360
So, we finally get the first DLC pack for our beloved Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. In this map pack we get 3 new maps, and 2 old school maps from Call of Duty 4. But is 1200 MS Points (15$) really worth just 5 maps? Sadly, no.

Spending 15$ on these maps doesn't give you the good feeling of getting a deal. In fact, you feel ripped-off after you buy this pack. Although the pack is a rip-off, it still gives us 5 amazingly fun maps to explore.

We'll start off with Bailout. Bailout is one of the bigger maps in the Stimulus map pack. Bailout takes place in what appears to be a suburb, complete with a swimming pool. The great thing about this map is that you can play almost an entire round just by staying indoors. Almost all the buildings link up in some way and you'll find yourself barley adventuring outdoors. This makes Bailout the perfect map to avoid killstreaks. Bailout is the perfect map for Search & Destroy.

Next up is Storm. Imagine taking the map "Downpour" (from Call of Duty 4) and the map "Hanger" (from Call of Duty World at War) and combining them into one. You'll find yourself playing mostly outdoors when it comes to this map. This is probably the biggest of the 3 new maps. The fun thing about this map is that most of the rushers seem to be outside, and get sniped easily, and then most of the sneaky people are indoors. Sadly because this map is so big, it is one giant campfest. Storm is perfect for Sabotage.

Next is the smallest of the new maps, Salvage. There isn't much to say about this map, its pretty much a version of "Shipment" (from Call of Duty 4) but snowy. This map is great because the number of campers is very limited. There are a few buildings you can go in and you'll be able to kill any camper in a manner of seconds. This map is perfect for FFA and CTF. Its probably best to play below 12 players.

Now we travel back in time to visit one of my personal favorite maps, Crash. Thankfully, Infinity Ward changed very few things about this map. Every time this map comes up, you'll feel like your playing Call of Duty 4 all over again. And that feeling is great. Crash is perfect for almost any gametype, but Search & Destroy, Domination, and Demolition seem to be the most fun.

Last but not least, Overgrown. Overgrown is the biggest out of all 5 maps. It is also one of the most fun. Overgrown is good for almost all gametypes and is great for Ground War. This map is even more fun to play in Modern Warfare 2 because of all the new and exciting equipment. Like Thermal Scopes, Pave-lows, Javelins, etc. Overall, this is one of the best maps for Modern Warfare 2, and it should have been in the game originally.

Overall, the Stimulus Pack should've been cheaper. But if you can get past the fact that it is about 8$ overpriced, then you should be fine. I highly recommend buying this pack, you'll have a blast playing it and you'll have fun every step of the way.
