Modern Warfare 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to the best-selling game COD4: Modern Warfare.
The campaign is an action packed thrill ride that never stops. It's only about 6 hours long, but it was still a great campaign. The story is a little far-fetched and isn't tied together very well, but it's decent and it works. There was a lot of controversy surrounding this game, mostly from the fact that you have to gun down civilians in a certain mission. All I can say is that it was a little disturbing, but there's the option to skip it, and you can move on.
Spec Ops is a new addition to the Call of Duty franchise. It's a co op mode in which special missions were made that would not have fit into the campaign itself, although most of these special ops were taken from the campaign. These missions are quite challenging, but you should be able to still have fun.
The multiplayer aspect is largely unchanged from the first Modern Warfare. There are new guns, new perks, and new killstreak rewards that you can use. Also introduced is the Callsign system, where you make a callsign that has a title and an emblem, which are unlocked by doing different things, such as kill n number of people or use this killstreak n number of times. Also, your gamertag, clan tag, and rank are displayed.
If you liked the first Modern Warfare, you will probably enjoy Modern Warfare 2.
