I give it an 8.2. I expected a lot more.

I have to say i expected more form the first Call of Duty but it was a letdown. The concept was very well thought out but executed in a bland way. You get to play as the Russians, the British and the Americans. Its divided into 3 parts where you play as each of the four country's soldiers. Each mission is usually played by a different soldier with a background story on how he got pulled into the war. It was a good approach to add more uniqueness to the game. There are not enough missions to do but, they are slightly hard though. The graphics could of been better as well. One thing I'll say was very well done was the sound. The music really set the mood and the sound effects were pretty good. The gameplay is where it fell short. For some reason bullets didn't have the same effect as you would think. Headshots didn't always work and enemies took sometime 5-6 bullets to kill, that's unrealistic especially if you're shooting the torso. Aiming needed to be improved, since clear shots didn't always work when they were suppose to. I found it surprising that the online servers were still up but, only 7 people were playing. The game could of also used more WW2 footage since you only got to see 3 videoclips, 1 for each country. All in all it is a good game, but definitely needed some improvements. It still can't reach the bar set by MOH Frontline. I suggest renting it, but it's less than $10 so buying it can be a good option too.
