The single player is as good as ever but the multiplayer is laggy and below par for a COD game.

The multiplayer is laggy and doesn't match up to the rest of the series. The customization options and the changes made to perks, weapons, etc. from MW2 are great and balance the game but the basic game mechanics just don't match up with the rest of the series.

The single player on the other hand is great, and creates a varied atmosphere and an intriguing story. The occasional hiccup will occur like have a mission where the only way to find out what to do is listen to a conversation while 30-40 guns and launchers are being fired around / at you, or the game freezing for about 10 seconds when an in-game trophy is earned.

contrary to the GS review i found the sound effects very unbelievable. Most riffles sounded like they already had silences on them and grenades thrown only a few feet away would give off a barely audible 'pop' sound.
