The Good:
A decent sci-fi and militaristic story; It has problems that can been seen in most action movies and games we see these days (including but not limited to: Plot holes, clichés, no character development) but overall it's OK.
Different Exo-suits with different sets of powers such as cloaking, grapple hooks, boost jumps and shields; These are not exactly new to gaming but did help this COD title to be more unique than the rest.
Diverse types of futuristic technology and weapons to use such as Mech suits, drones and giant robot tanks.
Distinctive environments and gameplay settings in each mission. Ex:- Stealth mission through woods, fly above mountains, Total rampage through a base wearing a Mech Suit
The Bad:
Stutter in cutscenes
Stutter at some points in gameplay
As usual, it has next to no freedom and has to go through missions and take down enemies according to how the game orders.
Conclusion:
While the latest COD title is not exactly a boost jump forward, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare brought in a number of elements to make itself more or less apart from the predecessors. It's not a memorable game but fun while it lasted.
