Wow! Simply stunning! To this day the graphics are superb, the sound is perfect, the gameplay is flawless!

I've been a fan of the Call of Duty series since day one. I've always found myself amazed at the level of details, the over-all quality, the polished feel of each of the games (for PC, haven't played the Wii version). With this installment, we're out of the World War 2 theme and thrust right in the middle of modern warfare - and it couldn't be a sweeter experience. The story is very interesting as it seems totally applicable to today's terrorism obsessed, black-market arms dealing, crazy ex-Soviet 'entrepreneurs', middle eastern instability stricken World (clearly I'm being a little dramatic). The graphics are first rate quality, and the sound is enough to make me look behind me for tanks (in my living room...)
As with all previous CoD games, I feel that the game is a little short - perhaps I played it through too quickly simply out of sheer enjoyment, but I always feel that it could have been a little longer. That said; however, it's not a real problem because it's actually fun to replay the game.
I can't comment on the MP aspect of this game since I never play it online. But I'm sure it adds even more value.
Can't wait for Modern Warfare 2!
