Out performs the first two Call of Duties but could have been better.

Call of Duty 3 builds up on what Call of Duty 1 and 2 failed to deliver upon. Aside from the better graphics (given that it is on the Wii), Call of Duty 3 provides you with advanced weaponry and allows you to be more involved in the action rather than just fight. I personally felt more involved as you can call airstrikes on the enemy, take control of wheel, perform hand to hand combat, and that all of that was enhanced through the use of the Wii remote and the nunchuk. I felt at times that it was me doing the fighting, not the game character. An excellent job was done on that front. However what strongly detracts from the value of this game is the controls for this game. I struggled at times to get used to the control and movement of my character and at times, it did get quite annoying. This really takes away from the enjoyment of the game and hence why this game receives a 8.5 from me. The music was very WWII like and like I said earlier, the graphics was astonishing. Call of Duty 3 does what the first 2 failed to do but had the controls been more wieldly, it could have received a better rating. But it is definitely a must have for the Wii!!
