A game that will forever be fun.
GAMEPLAY: This game as you probley already know is a puzzle game. But it's one that's challenging yet still fun. Not one that you tire of easily, like most other puzzle games. The way it works is that there are (for each stage) different colored spheres. You will have a thing that will be able to move right and left so you can shoot other colored spheres at the ones that are already there. Thing is, to get rid of the spheres (which is your goal, to get rid of all of them) you have to have at least 3 of the same color touching each other. There are also special spheres that will make things easier for you, but they only come around every now and then. Examples: There is one that looks like a boulder and will clear a path of spheres. Another is one that will turn spheres around it the same color as the last batch you got rid of.
There are several ways to play this game. There is regular mode where you choose different paths (which will lead to certain levels). And the difficulty can be ajusted. Another is story mode (well, sort of a story mode), where you encounter different characters and villians. This is a real challenge, but in a fun way, not in the way that you'll never want to play again. lol
GRAPHICS AND SOUND : The graphics...well not much to be said. They are what I grew up with so I still love them. But by today's standards they aren't that great. But who cares? The game is crazy fun with a simple concept. As for the sound, it's your regular GameBoy (original) sounds. Cute music and bleeps.
I feel like I should mention the characters. They are so cute, yet entertaining and original (you should, however, recognize some of them from the Bubble Booble games)
SUMMERY: Basically, this game has the quilities that a fun and addictive game should have and even now, it's amazingly fun. For me, it's never gotten old. So if your a fan of puzzle games, you should pick this up, because in my opinion it's the best in the series.
