Not sure what to make of it...

User Rating: 5.5 | Bus Driver PC
Bus Driver Simulator is a simple simulation game which involves, yes you guessed it...bus driving! Now at first this game was a shocker for me, I was used to playing simulation games like Farming Simulator, Euro Truck Simulator and other simulators with graphics that were brilliant (for a simulator). This however, wasn't a greatly detailed game, the background cityscape could have been created on Microsoft Paint with the 'create a line' tool and the foreground buildings weren't that detailed either.
When I learnt that this game was, indeed, created by the simulation Gods that were infact SCS, I was greatly surprised. For SCS this game was, as I said before, shocking. But I soon found myself playing it, more, and more and more. Up to the point where I had fully completed it and was begging for more (so I went and played OMSI, but that's another story). It was a rather strange sensation when I stepped back for a minute to think about it, and I realised I had been playing a game so simple (graphics and gameplay wise) but was actually half enjoying it. When I went and told my gamer buddies about my bus driving adventures they weren't too impressed and I won't repeat what they called me but I realised that Bus Driver simulator wasn't exactly cool.
So, rating time, I rated this 5.5/10, not a high score i know, this is probably because of the bad graphics and stupid traffic AI. But there is something in this game that made me want to keep playing, I'm not sure if it was the fact I secretly wanted to be a bus driver. But it was something, this is why I rated it as highly as i did. But seriously, for SCS, even though it was an early SCS game, it's still a bad one.
