Burnout 3 is a great racing game on & offline. Gonna be hard to play any racing game that doesn't include crashing.

Burnout 3: Takedown is a very satisfying and addicting game with a lot of replay value. The racing controls are great (I've only played the Xbox version) and the addition of Takedowns, signature takedowns, and crash headlines to the already extensive amount of events, locations, and cars that you can unlock makes this game one of my new favorites. I had originally only played about 5 crash levels at a friend's house, and now that I have the game, I feel the need to unlock them all. Multiplayer crash levels let you pick between any unlocked crash junctions, and having 100 to choose from has to be awesome. The racing levels are even more fun for most people (although I always end up back at the crash junctions myself) including a little racing in between crashing. For anyone that has played a racing game and can't understand how the computers car can always go so far and never crash, this will alleviate that frustration. Just sideswipe the computer into oncoming traffic. Problem solved. As for the technical portion of the review... The graphics are awesome and are probably only beat by Gran Turismo 4, but I like the soundtrack that EA puts into their games, and this game is no exception. Great songs during races and during the menu screens. The only thing that is annoying and keeps them from a 10 is the stupid announcer. That guy needs to shut up, and come up with more than 5 lines. The replayability is obviously great, along with the gameplay. Online play is good, as you can race at the same time, and even crash at the same time and then see the winners replay. Overall, this game should be a part of your collection, and is a must if you are also on Live.
