Burnout 3: Takedown is a racing game in which you have to wreck and destroy your opponents on your way to the finish line. The game has intense and very fun gameplay, with 4 modes, and a very fun online playing system. In Burnout 3, the primary obejective of the game isn't just winning the race, it's also about demolishing your competitors. Players can smash their own cars into their opponents. or ram them into a wall or a traffic vehicle. But what makes crashing and destroying very amusing in this game is the graphics. The game has spectacular areas and stunning visuals, and the best part of it, is the damage on the cars. Anything you see in real life, scratches, dents, broken glass, debris, you name it, will be there. And not only that, if you crash too hard on an oncoming freight truck, you might even explode! And those with Oil tanks behind will blast everything within the area. But if you get down because of the racing, then play the Crash mode, where your objective is, to cause the biggest jam you could in junctions known as Crash Junctions. You'll start off a few blocks away, and then you'll have to go straight to where the arrows lead and get any bonuses you could (on most junctions there are ramps toincrease the temptation) and slam into anything which you believe will cause other vehicles to crash, and if you get a certain number of vehicles hit, you'll get the Crashbreaker bonus, which explodes your car off into the air and you'l there fore be able to hit more vehicles.
There's also a Career mode known as the Burnout World Tour where you go around the world (not really) and compete in events from Crahes to time trials, and the more you win, the more cars and tracks you'll unlock in Single Player mode. This game is great, even the Soundtrack is also amazing, with some very good bands such as Yellowcard, Von Bondies and Motion City Soundtrack.
