WOW! Incredible Game which has been given mixed reviews, but it certainly warrants a buy if you enjoy FUN!
STORY: Grayson Hunt and his little gang of pirates crash land on Stygia. A marauder and radiation filled paradise. After your failed attempt to take out an old nemesis you have to find a way off world. The story is a hardcore tale of revenge with dirty humor sprinkled throughout. The endings a wee bit dissapointing, but this games story keeps you attached.
GAMEPLAY: This game has an interesting premise. Kill with Skill. Every kind of kill has a name and a certain amount of points. These points can be used to upgrade weapons. Its an interesting premise. From the main campaign there is Echo mode and Anarchy mode. Echo mode is a leaderboard mode. You blast through an area as fast as possible and when you get to the end your graded. Anarchy is the mulitplayer mode. Four people join up to battle off waves of marauders. Sounds like horde mode from gears of war, but theres a catch. You can't progress unless you reach a certain amount of points. Each level gains you new armor, weapons, and character actions. The multiplayer is fun and addicting.
PRESENTATION: This game is colorful and gorgeous. This game really shows off its engine. The voice acting and color language really hits the spot. Its funny and serious. A perfect combo. The environments look awesome and the world is full of detail. Also alot of the areas are different and make you feel like your somewhere new.
THIS GAME ROCKS! If you've read my BIOSHOCK reviews, this game is up to par with those titles. It is a blast and is recommended for those with and without xbox live. Awesome single player, and addicting multiplayer
