Bubble Bobble is an ever changing experience that is good fun.
Bubble Bobble takes place in the Cave of Mysteries, you play as a dragon creature, green if player 1 ans blue if player 2. Then it's all down from that point on. No the game isn't a failure, you travel downward after every level is cleared. You clear a level by getting rid of all the monsters in it. This is simple at first but as you proceed downward and downward you encounter some challenging ways to get the enemys into bubbles and pop 'em. Throw extra ways to kill enemys (lightning bolts, fire, and really big lightning bolts are examples) and you have a plethora of puzzling ways to take out the ememys. There are huge assortments of baddies too. Robots, magicians, airplane things, whale things??? are a few. Each level has a particular design that sometimes makes clearing the stage tricky and puzzling to overcome. You need a good brain to get the situation over with quikly, yes you are timed, or every thing will speed up. The second way the game tells you you're too slow is by bringing out a ghostly whale thing to kill you.
Overall Bubble Bobble is a unique game that brings some good times with it, add a friend to the mix and 99 levels and gather up more fun. And with the price tag of 5 bucks you got a good deal too.
