Brutal Legend = best game ever. Totally Metal. Only letdown was that there was no Iron Maiden songs. Sad f
I love that Schafer stuck with the whole metal theme. This game just proves that you don't have to be a sheep or partake in trends to be awesome. It's a shame that No. Two was cancelled.
Had great controls.... exempting the driving / animals. While some were o.k others, e.g. the Razorfire boars; horrible handling and controls. Another letdown was there was no Iron Maiden songs. There were loads of Maiden references (even a level name "Ran to the Hills" Maiden ref. for "Run to the Hills") but no actual Maiden songs; why not? I think because it - the game - was focusing more on unknown bands. Like going to youtube to look up one of the songs, a comment stated "Who heard of these guys before Brutal Legend".
Other than these small letdowns it was a perfect game.
The voice acting is also very good. I really enjoyed the character cameos: Ozzy Osbourne, Jack Black, Lemmy, Rob Halford, etc...
An overall great experience.
Some good laughs too.
